Dr. Jobe Hittinger, DVM
Education: The Ohio State College of Veterinary Medicine
Dr. Jobe Hittinger and his wife, Kerri, live in the peaceful neighborhood of Lexington Village, where they’re raising their two youngest daughters, Lain and Quinn. Dr. Jobe’s eldest daughter, Hannah, is a chemotherapy-certified RN on the Oncology floor at Akron General. Despite the distance, she and her father remain best friends, continuing their daily tradition of sharing the day’s highlights over the phone. Dr. Jobe’s son, Jacob, who shares his love for animals, is employed at the Cincinnati Zoo. There, he leads engaging Q&A sessions with visitors, educating them about some of the zoo’s mammal and reptile residents!
The Hittinger family recently welcomed Basil, a black Labrador Retriever who keeps everyone in the house busy! The youngest feline in the family is Django, who has a personality all his own — often imitating Basil’s every move and endearing himself to Lain and Quinn with his gentle, go-along nature.
Dr. Jobe and Kerri share a love for the culinary arts. He loves to cook, and she loves to bake, so they rarely cross swords in the kitchen. Whenever possible, they enjoy exploring new tastes through “foodie walking tours” while traveling.
Committed to lifelong learning, Dr. Jobe regularly attends seminars and continued education opportunities both in and out of state, to stay at the forefront of veterinary medicine. After more than 20 years in practice, he remains as passionate as ever about providing exceptional care to animals and building meaningful relationships with their owners.
